Some time ago it didn't seem such a big issue that the big boss yelled at his employees everyday. Workers from all categories, after receiving a powerful dose of stress at the workplace, used to come home and have a hard time dealing with their family life.
In time people found many ways to relief stress but the majority of them never discovered healthy ways to resolve their problems and because of that their families suffer.
Let's take the example of angry father who comes home and releases all his stress on his family members. Of course this inappropriate behaviour creates tension in the persons home life.
People have developed the idea that they don't have enough time for a stress relief program in healthy ways or ways that are easier for them. This is a very wrong way of thinking because it can lead to a drinking or smoking problem. The most important issue is that serious health consequences appear from these type of stress relief and the best thing is to avoid them.
What can be done?
1. Some people should try to find some activities before they enter their houses. An idea could be to drive around to relax or to stop for some shopping.
2. Another choice for some people could be finding more free time for their own pleasures before arriving home, like going to a gym, to a library to take a good book. Other stress relief activities could

3. For some people it is impossible to find any spare time between getting off of work and getting home. So the advice for them is to try to find something relaxing in the car or when they get home. arrive home. Try to read a magazine or to play with your kids.
